Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Guardian Vault mobile application ("App") provided by Drop Dollar LLC ("Developer," "we," "us," or "our").
By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. The App
Guardian Vault is a privacy and storage utility that may include features such as:
- Encrypted local vault storage
- Cleanup and duplicate detection tools
- Optional Private Content Shield scanning
- Decoy vault and app disguise tools
- Travel Mode
- Legacy planning tools
- Break-in alerts
- Safari content blocking
- On-device privacy tunnel / VPN configuration
- Guardian Pro subscription features
Features may change over time as the App is updated.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction, to use the App. If you are under 18, you represent that you have permission from a parent or legal guardian.
3. License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms and applicable law.
You may not:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code except where allowed by law
- Copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease the App
- Use the App for unlawful purposes
- Circumvent security features or subscription restrictions
- Use the App to store or distribute illegal content
4. Guardian Pro Subscriptions
Guardian Vault offers optional paid features through Guardian Pro.

Prices may vary by region and are subject to change. Payment is processed by Apple through your Apple ID account.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings.
Lifetime purchases, where available, unlock Pro features for as long as the App remains supported and compatible with your device, subject to these Terms.
Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with App Store policies.
5. Your Responsibilities
You are solely responsible for:
- The content you store in the App
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your passcode, recovery key, and device
- Backing up important data
- Ensuring your use of the App complies with applicable laws
If you lose your passcode and recovery key, encrypted data may be permanently inaccessible. Drop Dollar LLC cannot recover lost vault credentials.
6. Privacy

7. Security Features
Guardian Vault includes security and privacy tools such as encryption, decoy vault, panic wipe, break-in alerts, and optional content scanning. These features are provided for convenience and protection, but no system is completely secure.
You acknowledge that:
- Security features may not prevent all unauthorized access
- Device loss, malware, shoulder surfing, coercion, or misuse may compromise security
- Optional camera capture for break-in alerts occurs locally on your device
- Panic wipe and deletion features may permanently destroy data
Use these features at your own discretion.
8. VPN / Privacy Tunnel Disclaimer
The App's Privacy Tunnel feature uses Apple's Network Extension framework to create an on-device tunnel configuration. It is not a traditional commercial VPN service, and Drop Dollar LLC does not provide external VPN servers for general internet routing in the manner of standalone VPN providers.
Drop Dollar LLC does not guarantee uninterrupted connectivity, specific geographic routing, censorship bypass, or anonymity. You are responsible for complying with local laws regarding VPN or network tool usage.
9. Photo Library and Content Scanning
If you use cleanup, duplicate detection, or Private Content Shield features, you authorize the App to access selected photo library content on your device for local processing.
Automated scanning may produce false positives or false negatives. You are responsible for reviewing results before deleting or moving files.
10. Safari Content Blocker
If enabled, the Safari content blocker extension may reduce ads and trackers on supported websites in Safari. Blocking performance depends on website design, iOS/Safari behavior, and rule updates. We do not guarantee blocking of all ads or trackers.
11. No Warranty
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, secure, uninterrupted, or free from data loss.
12. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DROP DOLLAR LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, REVENUE, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DROP DOLLAR LLC'S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE APP SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF: (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR GUARDIAN PRO IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM; OR (B) USD $10.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.
13. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Drop Dollar LLC from claims, damages, losses, and expenses arising from your misuse of the App, your stored content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
14. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device.
We may suspend or discontinue the App or any feature at any time, with or without notice, to the extent permitted by law.
15. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
16. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Drop Dollar LLC is organized, without regard to conflict of law principles, except where prohibited by applicable consumer protection laws in your country of residence.
17. Apple Terms
You acknowledge that these Terms are between you and Drop Dollar LLC only, not Apple Inc. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App.
To the extent permitted by law, Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
